Abstract In this study, we attempted to grow vertically aligned carbon nanotubes (VA-CNTs) from Langmuir–Blodgett (LB) films with accumulated nanoparticles and compare evaluate the results VA-CNTs grown LB AlFe 2 O 4 in addition CoFe Fe 3 nanoparticles. CVD was performed on under following conditions. As a result, smaller were 5 times higher than bigger When by varying catalyst area ratio palmitic acid, longer those when less 0.2.
