Abstract In this study, we attempted to grow vertically aligned carbon nanotubes (VA-CNTs) from Langmuir–Blodgett (LB) films with accumulated nanoparticles and compare evaluate the results VA-CNTs grown LB AlFe 2 O 4 in addition CoFe Fe 3 nanoparticles. CVD was performed on under following conditions. As a result, smaller were 5 times higher than bigger When by varying catalyst area ratio palmitic acid, longer those when less 0.2. The inner diameter of NPs gradually decreased decreasing approached original particle diameter, similar case NPs.
